My parents taught me that everybody deserves equal respect, seeing everybody as no better or worse than anybody else. I try to work with this philosophy every day but I am sad to see how much disrespect, shaming, & abuse there is in the world today; physical, sexual and emotional. The world will never be at peace until we show each other a little respect.
