Heartspeak, episode 5: Do we need all of these vaccinations?

I am in favor of vaccinations but have things gone too far? In the 1980s, by 18 years, a child received 23 doses of 7 common vaccinations. Now, in the US, an 18-year-old receives 69 doses of 16 different vaccines. Indeed, before the age of 18 months, a child can receive 26 doses, sometimes receiving 8 doses in 1 day.

It’s denied that vaccines have long-term effects yet more must be done to explain the rise in many childhood illnesses; in the USA 1 in 6 children have learning difficulties, 1 in 9 asthma, 1 in 43 autism and 1 in 400 diabetes.

Parents have to make difficult decisions for their children & I’d suggest you always ask the advice of your personal doctor. But there are also times to listen to your heart & know you are not alone.
