Awakening to the Mystery; Dallas 2011

January 2011 | Past Talks

This talk includes; why our dreams and reality are beginning to merge, why we’re experiencing more natural disasters, why time appears to be elastic, the true meaning of the word apocalypse, why mindfulness is an invaluable form of meditation at this time, why unity can never be achieved on this Earth while polarization continues and the end of the Piscean Age. PLUS a visual imagery exercise to reach the heart of mystery.

Selected teaching from this seminar:
Over the past decade, the amount of information available to us has accelerated, stimulated by advances in technology. Mystics say that such technology is mirroring the more subtle dissolving of the veils between the dimensions of reality, bombarding our consciousness with those things previously hidden in mystery until everything is revealed. We are facing true unity consciousness; the question is: are we ready?

Living in the mystery

One thing which is certain about 2012 is that we’re being offered the chance to pass through a spiritual portal into a level of consciousness we’ve not experienced before. The indigenous people say we have stood at this doorway twice before and have not been able to pass through. However, they say it’s different this time, we’re more prepared. Many remote viewers have tried to see beyond 2012 and observe the world which is becoming and yet, for some reason, they can only imagine what is already known. This should not surprise us for who, forty years ago, could have imagined the technological world in which we live today. The mystery of the new cycle awaits us and all we need is an open heart and mind, and the courage to take step out into the unknown. The physicist Albert Einstein speaks eloquently about mystery:

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious; it’s the source of all true art and science. He who is a stranger to his emotion or fails to pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.

He also says: There are two ways to live: You can live as if nothing is a miracle or you can live as if everything is a miracle.

Mystery can appear suddenly such as with lightning or a beautiful rainbow or slowly over nine months, when a few cells are transformed into the miracle of new life. Yet, many people I meet prefer to limit mystery by having all the facts and figures available to them before making a move. This is the reason why there is an obsession to acquire more information, why ‘goggle’ has become a house hold name and why ‘How to’ books are so popular. I’m often told in my seminars: “If you can guarantee that if I follow my intuition, I’ll never suffer, always have money, be successful and meet the love of my dreams; then I’ll take the risk. Otherwise, I’d prefer to stay where I am.” The greatest challenge to humanity’s evolution is our persistent need to try and control the mysterious from emerging.

Yet without losing control and falling into chaos now and again, we can never know the beauty of the unknown and the miraculous. Chaos is the Great Mother’s call for us to surrender our sense of separation to her love and then stand, rapt in awe, allowing the miraculous or unknown to emerge not from our minds but from our hearts.

Further teachings on Awakening to the Mystery can be found in Christine’s book 2012 and the Galactic Center; the Return of the Great Mother (also available in audio form).
