1) The world is dying and it’s all your fault. Such sensational sentiments, strike at the core of our fear and guilt, causing us to shrink away from the Earth in shame, rather than merging with her. The world is not dying, she is transforming and she is inviting us along for the ride.

Within the vaults of this sanctuary, a tiny figure known as ‘the sleeping lady’ was found. It is said that the Queen Bee removed her energy towards the end of Atlantis, when she saw mankind misusing her energy. I believe it is time to persuade her to awaken, for we need her wisdom more than ever before.

We will stay on Malta and Gozo for 10 days and then spend three nights in England to visit two other sites dedicated to the goddess, this time in her form as the Dragon Queen. Glastonbury and Avebury are sites of fertility, creativity and birth which were created to symbolize the sacred marriage between heaven and earth, the masculine and feminine.

My heart goes out to those in Britain as I watch the news on the BBC and see so many areas that I know and love undergoing mindless and wanton vandalism. At this time, the first priority is to quell the riots, make safe the communities and to clear up the mess. Then the questions will begin, aimed towards to why, who and what can be done in the future.

My recent visits to the UK showed me that this is a country, which despite the economic downturn, has a lot to be proud of and with the upcoming 2012 Olympics, has been chosen to be centre stage, when it comes to the changes which are sweeping across the globe around 2012 and beyond.

Astrologically, riots based on old grievances, were bound to surface. Let me explain. Uranus the planet of sudden action, rebellion and revolution entered Aries in the middle of March 2011 (having briefly been there May-Aug 2010). It was in the summer of 2010 that the first riots erupted in the Tunisia, Egypt and the other parts of the Middle East. Because Aries is the sign associated with new beginnings, action and also war, it was inevitable that Uranus in Aries would bring violence as there is a revolution to rid ourselves of the old and start a new way of governance, one of group consciousness and not based on greed.

In May 2010, Britain began its own change in governance, whether intentional or not, when two parties were forced to work together, providing a more co-operative front.

The other planet strongly linked to change is Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth, which since November 2008, has been slowly working its way through Capricorn, the sign of structure, form and authority. Starting with the first financial meltdown, the housing crash and the credit squeeze, it showed the top heavy weakness of many of institutions around the world. All those things upon which we are reliant are being put to the test, whether banks, religion, politics, education and our right to have a home and job.

Pluto is the dark goddess who is searching through the depths of our psyche to bring to the surface the gems of our existence, but first she causes us to examine our past and our secrets. Pluto brings these secrets to the surface –the phone tapping scandal – as well as grievances which have been hidden and festering from the past especially in relation to people who we believe have authority or precedence over us. As we saw with Rupert Murdoch, nobody is immune to Pluto’s glare and many more powerful people will enter the spotlight in the future. Many people are experiencing crises in their lives, such as illness and death of loved ones, so that they can examine their own levels of inner authority and see what really matters.

Uranus is in Aries until 2019 and Pluto remains in Capricorn until 2024 so get used to the ride.

What has the focus of many astrologers at present, are the squares occurring between these two planets from 2011until 2016. When one planet is square to another it brings friction, tension and change: they are pretty close most of August 2011 with the next exact squares being June and August 2012 following by May 2013.

Many are speaking of this square following the conjunction/ alignment between these two planets in Virgo 1965-67. These were the years of revolution and change and much of it began in Britain whether with the music, the way people dressed or connected. Is it any wonder that the revolution has erupted in Britain again? In the end, this will not be about these gangs of young people on the streets in August 2011 but the transformation we will see in the months that follow when the Brits do what they do best, rally around a crisis one street and community at a time.

The last time Uranus and Pluto were square was in 1931-1932 when we saw bank failures, tension between Japan and China and the rise of fascism and Adolf Hitler. At that time, Uranus was once again in Aries but this time Pluto was in Cancer, so it was the sense of family and home which were threatened.
But we are not in the 1930s, we are in 2011 and all indigenous cultures talk about this time as the Great Shift. The Maya say 2012 is the beginning, 2023 is the middle and 2038 is the end. I like to say 2012 is similar to the delivery of the baby when naively you might think everything is over. But between 2012 and 2024 we will learn that we need to adapt to the changes in our lives that a baby brings and then from 2024- 2038, we start to settle into the new routine.

CHANGE HAS TO HAPPEN, WE CANNOT HOLD ONTO THE OLD

As the shift occurs, across the world we will see the end of centralized government. Already in Britain there is talk of strengthening community and city governance rather than waiting for everything to come from Westminster. People have mobilized themselves to protect their homes and clean up the mess.
Another force which is not going away is social networking as the planet Neptune enters Pisces and all the veils that separate us disappear, and there is instant access to each other’s lives and thoughts. Already we are seeing the upside and downside of such access and there is no doubt that individually we need to decide not only who to give our information to but whose information to believe.

Neptune –dissolving into mystery- in Pisces –unlimited possibilities, is also the age of 3D, computer games and virtual reality. Many of the young people today are so used to playing the games that they have lost touch with reality especially when it comes to accountability and consequences. Once again, Neptune is in Pisces until 2025 so we haven’t seen anything yet!

As I finish, I want to remind you that you are not alone during these times. As the veils dissolve between dimensions, we are surrounded more than ever with those who offer us love and support from the spirit realms whether loved ones who have passed over, angels, guides or star people. Call on them for support, guidance and compassion. Know that whatever happens it is coming from a place of universal love because it is imperative that the human race accepts the challenge to work together in consciousness to bring peace, abundance and love to all that live upon this beautiful planet and especially the green and pleasant land, known as Britain.

What dreams or desires have you carried for years, but never given time to manifest? Perhaps to write, draw, travel or just rest? Recently, I was aware how much I was saying; ‘when I retire I will….’ When I heard my limiting self-talk, I immediately changed my life patterns. I know I am the creator of my own life and if I didn’t feel my life was nurturing my soul, I was the only person who could change the outcome. One of the most important mantras I say to myself is: I will not become a victim of my creations, for then I’m powerless to change anything.

Now is the time to hear our soul’s truth and live our dreams by first releasing all the reasons we give ourselves as to why this will never happen! Nobody lacks inspiration or information but merely the vessel or womb into which to plant the seed. I’m often told that the limiting factors to change are the lack of courage or the need to know how if everything will turn out OK. Change commonly demands our personality to let go of control, while our soul celebrates the freedom to grow.

Increasingly, I am meeting people who have held onto painful and destructive beliefs about themselves and the world and who are now facing outward challenges such as illness, death of loved ones or redundancy as their soul grapples with them to let go of life patterns which are causing them so much suffering. Commonly they tell me that it is the present day crisis which is the problem when in truth, the crisis is the solution.
As the Cancer solar eclipse reminds us, it is time to embrace change through love of ourselves and by accepting the love offered, not only by close physical friends, but by a host of spiritual loved ones who are cheering us on at every moment of our lives. I suggest the creation of a warm and loving womb for such change whether at home or work, drawing into our lives people who support our soul. Then ask your spiritual family to clear the way for your truth to be seen and then get out of your own way as your dreams become reality.

Blizzards across two thirds of America, massive floods and cyclones in Australia, revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt, freezing temperatures in Europe and birds falling from the sky. Such are the signs of transformation as predicted by the ancient people and it’s only just begun.

The naysayers would have us believe that these events are warning us to mend our evil ways, subtly ensuring that the added guilt and shame will keep us in bondage to their authority forever and unaware of the Universal love which is now within our reach.

As I mentioned last year, these sudden and unexpected happenings reflect the movement of the planet Uranus – sudden change, revolution and social interaction – into the sign of Aries – new beginnings, adventure and war. At the same time, Neptune – the planet of mystery and dissolution – and Chiron – the wounded healer – are finishing their close journey in the sign of Aquarius urging us not to dissolve into fear but to take a step back, become more objective and see the bigger picture for the good of all concerned. A revolution cannot be merely the replacement of one dictator with another but the beginning of a true democracy where all voices are equally heard.

The problem with signs is that they can be interpreted on many levels dependent on our perspective. Close up, our logical mind rushes to make sense of chaos, willing to ‘do’ anything to fix the problem. SUV is the problem; get an electric car, flu is the problem; get a vaccine, running out of money; make more.

As a doctor, I’m all for first aid measures as long as we don’t see them as solutions. It takes courage to step back once the patient is out of danger and truly assess the situation with the courage to say; we don’t know the cause but we’re investigating.

For years, I have been fascinated by the mystery of the crop formations which first became prevalent in the UK during the 1990s. Many theories have been forthcoming wrapped within the knowledge that some are manmade. Yet the mystery persists which in my mind is the most important gift of all from the Universe. Without curiosity and the willingness to let go of limiting beliefs, whether about ourselves or the world, consciousness becomes stagnant and we can never truly know ourselves or the amazing ‘home’ which we inhabit. Signs and symbols are registered deep within our left brain as truth which cannot necessarily be explained by logic. They awaken hidden ancestral and spiritual truths which register as ‘knowing’ not in the head but in the heart which is continuously resonating with heart of the Great Mother, the source of our Existence.

So as you dig yourself out of several feet of snow and then relax to read about global warming, you may question the premise that humanity is the cause of this disaster. All across the solar system, changes are occurring to our fellow planets even though the sun has recently been experiencing some of its quietest times. Climate Change is a much appropriate claim.

Perhaps the cause is coming from a far greater energy source, the center of our galaxy and beyond, especially when we appreciate that our star, the Sun, is only one of 300 billion within our galaxy. The present transformation is a galactic event which is now impacting every living being, including Mother Earth, allowing us to fully embody our spiritual essence.

So please: see the signs, resist the temptation to interpret them immediately and listen to your heart. This is your time to rebel, express your uniqueness and refuse to listen to those whose words seek to make you feel small.

In early April 2011, Neptune and Chiron will transit into the sign of Pisces attempting to heal our wounded delusions and allow us to expand our awareness and hence encompass many things which we have only imagined previously. This is a wonderful time to be alive as long as we remember to follow our hearts, keep close to the rhythms of Mother Earth and know that we are loved.

As I sit listening to the current political rally calls, watch as rival sports teams fight between themselves for glory and hear pharmaceutical companies use the language of war to promote their latest wonder drug against the body, it’s clear that the greatest obstacle to peace in our time, is our need to polarize everything into two extremes and then ask the individual to choose between the two. Masculine v feminine, body v spirit, dark v light, my team v your team, my religion v yours, left brain v right brain. Polarization has its place in developing a strong sense of identity but only when we are allowed to experience both poles. When we stay fixed in one dimension and never experience the other, any opportunity to expand consciousness is lost.

The greatest reason for this tendency towards polarization is that for the past 2000 years, we have lived under the influence of the Piscean symbol; two fish swimming in opposite directions. The fish are held together by a link, love, signifying that it is through the sacred marriage of opposites that unity and peace will flow through this world. The fish represent consciousness; the upper one symbolizing the world of spirit or imagination while the lower one denotes the world of matter.

Each is dependent on the other for its existence and when they function in harmony, we see the manifestation of heaven on earth, revealed in all its beauty. However, if the fish fail to appreciate their dependence on each other and prefer to exist as separate entities, we see a pattern which has been the cause of most of the battles over the past two thousand years: polarization and enmity where everything is valued as to whether you are with me or against me. Indeed, when we do not accept the opposites which live within us, we project these out into the world and then go to war against them!

We have approximately 90 years left to turn around the pattern of two millennia and find unity through the acceptance of diversity, rejecting the disharmonic pattern of polarization and separation. Without this natural flow between the two poles, we will fail to pass through the door of enlightened consciousness which is being offered to us at this time.

The fact that the planet Neptune (the dissolver of barriers of separation) and the asteroid Chiron (the healer) are due to enter Pisces next year, are intense indicators that the time has come for us to experience ourselves as unified, spiritual human beings and to live the true meaning of the word Namaste: I am another one of you or as one of the messengers of this Piscean Age, Jesus Christ said: Love thy neighbor as yourself.

There are a small minority of individuals on this planet who thrive on our separation and enmity between each other, for as we fight and reject what is truly just another part of ourselves, we lose power and they become strong. They are easy to recognize as they encourage the language of polarization where shaming, criticism and fear are used to keep the majority in place.

When we change our language from or to and, choosing to respect and honor another person’s point of view, then we will see peace and unity flow through this planet. We all have unique gifts and attributes and it is our differences which bring strength to all.

Despite all the changes occurring both within our personal lives and around the world, we are perfectly on track for the transformation we’ve been awaiting for thousands of years. All we need to do is take full advantage of the opportunities arising which may seem challenging to our minds but are fully understandable to our hearts.

1) The apocalypse: the revelation of those things previously only known by the few, to be known now by the many. This is occurring due to dissolution of the veils which existed between the dimensions of reality allowing us to know ourselves as multi-dimensional beings. These changes will be heightened by Neptune’s passage into its own sign Pisces next year when our thoughts will instantaneously be converted into reality.

However we don’t have to wait until 2011, for already we’re witnessing changes in our reality. Thus, although at present we know the difference between being awake and asleep, as the veils fall, there will be less and less differentiation between these two states with our night dreams continuing into our day and vice versa.

Other results of the falling veils will be that it will feel as if you’re suddenly tuned into 200 radio stations simultaneously. Physically this may lead to sleeplessness, a sudden desire to sleep in the day, unpredictable anxiety, confusion especially around dates and time, dizziness, weight changes and breathing difficulties.

My advice: stay grounded, spend extra time in the garden with your feet on the earth, stop meditation practices which take you out of your body, take time for self and laugh.

2) The clearing of dead energy or emotions from our psyche. As the veils disappear, all aspects of our psyche which have been kept hidden in the subconscious, often as secrets, will be brought to the surface so we can integrate them into being. Thus we may experience our worse nightmares and greatest joys all in one day.

In our holographic world this is being reflected in the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico which at the time of writing, has been capped. Oil comes from dead vegetation millions of years old. As it poured in to the ocean, polluting everything it touched, it symbolically represents the dead emotional energy which is presently pouring into our water/ blood stream and which will poison us, unless we clear it from our system.

My advice: if you’ve told your story, STOP telling it! But be careful not to drop the story before asking; what did I learn, how did I grow and why did I create this experience as an amazing spiritual being? Decide to nurture yourself with live energy whether this comes from the vibrant nature kingdom, friends or food.

3) As the energy of individual or self-consciousness grows, we will see increasing anger directed towards the leaders in society including those involved in politics, finance, and religion, with the perception that they have misused power. Yet, eventually, the leaders will tire of this and hand the power back to the people in the name of self-accountability and this will be the start of societies based on true co-operation and respect for all.

My advice: seize your own power back now, choosing not to be a victim but someone who makes choices from a state of personal accountability.

4) Beware the magicians with their phenomena and magic tricks who will step up as gurus, leaders or teachers and attempt to take your power from you. You’ll know them by what you have to ‘pay’ to be one of the elite few, how their power comes from judging others and how you never quite get to be an equal only a follower. This is the end of hierarchal systems and power struggles based on enmity between two opposing factions.

My advice: know that everybody presently has access to the ocean of possibilities.
