I’ve been asked: ‘What if nothing happens in 2012? What if it’s just hype to incite fear?’

This is my answer: ‘If I think that this is the best I can do as a spiritual human being then I need to reconsider my concept of spirituality!’

When I was first asked the question, it made me think about what I would want to see in the world before I considered humanity had reached a spiritual level of evolution. One issue that jumped into my mind was while man kills man, we cannot consider ourselves evolved. Then I realized that it wasn’t just about physical death but how we kill each others’ hopes and dreams; how we kill another person’s self confidence and how we can even kill the love towards ourselves.

I realized that I could start the change by carefully considering my words and actions in the desire not to kill anybody emotionally or spiritually.
I wonder what changes you’d want to see, especially as 2012 and beyond are offering this giant expansion in consciousness?

And where do you see the changes beginning in your life?

As we approach 2012 and the birth of a new world, we are facing the apocalypse. This is not, as many have suggested, a terrible event but actually means ‘the lifting of the veils’ when things previously hidden, except to certain people, will be revealed to all. Maori wisdom keepers agree with this prophecy adding that as the veils dissolve, the Earth will reach its perfected state on the 12th dimension, becoming home to an enlightened humanity.

This unveiling is already occurring, seen often as instant karma; thoughts immediately translated into reality. It’s also a time when all those secrets which you thought were safely hidden away in your subconscious are now being revealed for all to see. This has been highlighted recently in the extramarital scandals of the famous which have received front page coverage. We all have secrets, some of which are used in power struggles within relationships. But the majority of our secrets have been hidden away in our psyche for lifetimes, fearful that if they show their faces, we would experience intense embarrassment, shame and even rejection by those who say they love us.

Well, as the veils fall, the masks we’ve worn for so long are also dropping, leaving us naked but true. Despite what your ego thinks, this is what your soul has been craving, exhausted by the effort of only expressing what other people want to hear or see.

At the same time, as the veils fall, we will experience ourselves living in all the dimensions as one time – somewhat disorientating but glorious – at last we come to know ourselves as not separate from the world of spirit but one and the same; healed and whole. No longer will we speak of angels, ETs or guides as ‘them’ but rather as ‘us’, relegating any hierarchal concept of spirituality to the previous world of disconnection and unconsciousness. We will be living from our centre, our heart, where each aspect of the self is an equally respected and honored part of the whole.

Timely Tips:

  • Remember you’re loved just as you are.
  • Share your secrets whether with a friend, a journal or a pet! Remember while you have a secret, you live with shame and the belief that you’re unlovable.
  • Release any emotional hold you have on people who no longer nurture your soul: it’s not their problem; you’re receiving a pay-off subconsciously. What is it?
  • Step beyond hierarchical ideas and see yourself as divine, beautiful and loved.
